History

Homer remembered being a little boy watching a televised press conference by then President Kennedy who gave a non-answer to a question by Helen Thomas which just received fawning chuckling from the press corp.[1]

Helen Thomas questioned Lisa when she became the new President of the USA. Helen asked Lisa, "Wasn't I wearing a hat?" Lisa told Helen that she was wearing a hat.[2]

Helen Thomas was an American reporter and author who served as a member of the White House press corps until 2010. She died on July 20, 2013, at her home in Washington, D.C. at the age of 92.
