Calmwood Mental Hospital is a mental hospital in Springfield. Ned Flanders voluntarily commits himself after going on a tirade, slandering everyone who tried to help him rebuild his house.
Patients
Notable patients at Calmwood besides Flanders include Lucille Botzcowski, John Swartzwelder, and Jay Sherman. Dr. Foster mentions that another patient is a cannibal and that the Simpsons will be pleasantly surprised when they meet him/her.
