History[edit]
In a story by Homer, aboard the Neptune ocean liner, Disco Stu introduced Captain Burns as "the LeRoy Neiman of seamen."[1]
In an election campaign speech to the rich, Joe Quimby told them that the rich deserved LeRoy Neiman paintings. LeRoy Neiman later attended the wedding of Joe Quimby and Beatrice Bouvier where he painted the wedding.[2]
