Springfield Idols is a questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Rise of the Robots content update. It requires Chief Knockahomer to be obtained.

	Cool, cool! Hey, you know how your brain is my old myPod Shuffle? That gave me, like, an idea, man! Check out this flyer.
	reading "Visualize the Legalize! Rally for more money for 4-20!" I don't understand what any of that means.
	Whoa, wrong flyer! Try this one.
	reading "Springfield Schools Talent Competition...blah blah blah...staff will participate in the event..."
	You want me to enter a talent show with you? I don't know if that's really my thing...

	Principal Skinner, the flyers all said the staff would be competing so none of us entered.
	That was an obvious typo! It's clearly meant to say "Staff will SUPERVISE participation in the event".
	Oooh. That makes so much more sense.
	Well, no harm, we'll just postpone the event until the kids can—
	No way, man! The show must go on!
	The deranged hippie is right! Don't come between a man and his bulk seafood of questionable quality!
Task: "Make Chief Knockahomer Work the Crowd". The job takes place at Springfield Elementary, Convention Center, or a Brown House and takes 2 hours. 	Yes, well...let's see who's up next.
	Now is my time to shine! I'll be performing "Stairway to Heavenly Music" on public education's most famous instrument: the beloved recorder!
	No way, Dewey! I already set up the glitter drop for my Flashdance number, and I'm not gonna let a pipsqueak pseudo-flautist get in my way!
	Whatever, I'm going on and you can't stop me!

	And finally, the two reprobates responsible for this debacle, Otto and Chief Knockahomer.
	We go by Shredder and Chief Rock-Da-House now, thank you.
	Otto, what's wrong? We're on!
	I don't know, man. Now that I'm up here...what if everyone laughs at me?
	Otto, I mean "Shredder", if I've learned one thing about humans, it's that you're all motivated by a depressingly shallow combination of greed, petty grievances, and fear.
	But I'll also be nice and pretend something called "heart" is involved and that you have it.
	Thanks, man, but I don't know...
	Besides, remember what you kept telling me when I helped you bake brownies instead of practicing? "That shrimp ain't gonna eat itself".
	Yeah...YEAH! Okay, are you kids ready to rock this house!

	Well, you would have, but unfortunately you're disqualified because Chief Rock-Da-House isn't a school employee. Plus I'm just irritated you made me endure all this.
