George R. R. Martin watched a series of YouTube videos about the Simpson family and their rise to fame. Someone then shouted at him to get to work writing his next book. Martin then searched for dragons on YouTube and found a video of a fight between Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change.[2]

George R. R. Martin is the author of the A Song of Ice and Fire series of books, which was later adapted into the TV series Game of Thrones. The sign he was wearing in "The Serfsons" is a reference to Martin not having completed the book series.
