History[edit]
When George Washington was fighting pirate Hans Sprungfeld, she came in with the flag. Washington didn't pay for the flag, as she only got the white stars he wanted and couldn't find any red hearts, yellow moons, or green clovers.[1]
When Luann Van Houten was photographed for the calendar, she was dressed as Betsy Ross.[2]
After Santa's Little Helper's urine revealed a riddle on the first fire hydrant, Bart and Lisa determined that it referred to the Betsy Ross House, as she was "the first sewer."[3]
Betsy Ross was one of the women in the famous women of herstory diorama Lisa made for Marge's birthday.[4]
