Biography[edit]

During a golf match at the Springfield Glen Country Club, Homer Simpson struggled to hit his ball out of a sand trap and hesitated over which club to use. Watching his indecision, Charles Montgomery Burns sarcastically addressed him as "Steinmetz," implying that Homer was overthinking the shot, before advising him to use a sand wedge.
