After Gladys Gurney died, she gave Marge her collection of potato chips that resembled celebrities, including one that resembled Jay Leno.[2]
He booked Krusty the Clown for his comedy show, but Krusty failed to get a laugh.[3]
During his final days working at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Homer Simpson kept a personal calendar at his workstation that included reminders. One entry noted an upcoming appearance by Dick Clark on a late-night program hosted by Jay Leno.[4]
