History[edit]

Homer watched Late Show with David Letterman, on which his sex scandal was ridiculed.[1]

He was one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[2]

A picture of David Letterman was on the wall of The Penny Loafer.[3]

Grampa asked Bart if he remembered who David Letterman was.[4]

He was doing a show when the Simpson family ran in and sat on the couch. He was annoyed that they flew the Simpsons in just for that before he told the band to play.[5]

When Homer Simpson chopped down a door, he yelled out of the door, "David Letterman." Grampa saw him and said to him, "Hi, David, I'm Grampa."[6]
