Paul Bunyan is a mythological lumberjack who is usually described as a giant as well as a lumberjack of unusual skill.

As Paul grew up, he became a burden on the town, with the townspeople constantly making food for him and accidentally crushing and eating it. Eventually, the townspeople got sick of this and drugged Paul, dragging him away from town. Upon realizing that the townspeople didn't want him anymore, Paul left and carved Babe out of a mountain when he got lonely.
