History
The singing railroad hobo told the story of Paul Bunyan to the Simpson family. In the story, Abe Bunyan was shocked when his wife gave birth to Paul. As Paul grows up, he becomes a burden on the town, with the townspeople constantly making food for him and accidentally crushing them and eating them. Eventually, the townspeople get sick of this and drug Paul and drag him away from town. Upon realizing that the townspeople don't want him any more, Paul leaves and carves Babe out of a mountain when he gets lonely. As he slept that night, Babe got hit my magical lightning and came to life.
Paul and Babe then went on adventures together, accidentally creating the Great Smoky Mountains, Death Valley and Big Holes with Beer National Park as they went. Eventually, Paul saw a woman, who he immediately fell in love with. The two of them started dating until they eventually got married. Sometime after their wedding, the townspeople found that a meteor was coming towards them and would kill them all. They asked Paul to come back and save them, which he does when they tell Paul that he would be popular. When he gives his wife a good luck kiss, the meteor lands in his butt crack, causing Paul pain. Paul then takes out the meteor and throws it at Chicago, causing the Great Chicago Fire.
During the story, Lisa questioned its accuracy and inconsistencies with Paul's size. She also said that Paul Bunyan didn't cause the Great Chicago Fire.[1]
A statue of Paul Bunyan had been converted into a statue of Shiva outside of the Taj Meatball.[2]
