Animal Information
|
The Experimental Ant Colony was a specialized ant farm used by NASA aboard the space shuttle Corvair.
History[edit]
While aboard the shuttle, Homer accidentally unleashed chaos by disturbing an experimental ant colony. The trouble began when he opened a smuggled bag of potato chips in zero gravity, sending the chips drifting through the cabin. As he floated around trying to eat them mid-air, he collided with the ant colony, shattering it and releasing the ants into the shuttle.
