New Dogs on the Block is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Dog Days content update.

After completing Danger in Numbers I should introduce myself — Emily Winthrop, of Emily Winthrop's Canine College. I never went to college, doggie or other. I'll be handling all the training for your new canine police force. This is my best dog, Laddie. *bark* *woof* This guy reeks of weakness. His barks are just so cute! Task: "Collect Dog Bones" (x145). Task: "Make Wiggum Wonder What Laddie Said". The job takes place at the Police Station and takes 4 hours. If Lou is owned: Task: "Make Lou Order Dog Uniforms". The job takes place at the Police Station or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. If Eddie is owned: Task: "Make Eddie Install Dog Seatbelts in the Cruiser". The job takes place at the Police Station or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. Dad, how'd the police dog tryouts go? That dog is so stupid. That's Santa's Little Helper you're talking about! Not him. The Chief of Police dog, Laddie. He gave Santa's Little Helper a 10. 10 out of 10?! That's pretty great! Ten out of a thousand! *whimper* Hold up. My old dog, Laddie, is there? After completing Pt. 1 We've finished selecting the new police dogs. If anyone needs me, I'll be busy training them at Emily Winthrop's Canine College. Yes, we know who you are and we know whose college it is. Who me, Emily Winthrop at Emily Winthrop's Canine College? Oh, brother. Chief, do we have to deal with this lady? At least you don't have to give up your office chair to a dog. *bark* I'm gonna need this seat Febreze'd. It smells like failure. Task: "Collect Dog Bones" (x125). Task: "Make Wiggum Hand Over His Chair to Laddie". The job takes place at the Police Station and takes 4 hours. If Emily Winthrop is owned: Task: "Make Emily Winthrop Train More Police Dogs". The job takes place at Emily Winthrop's Canine College and takes 4 hours. Task: "Make Homer Train Santa's Little Helper Himself". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 4 hours. After completing Pt. 2 Alright, Rosa Barks, since this is your first ride-along, watch how the pros do it. *bark* *ruff* Where are these "pros"? I'll assume you were just admiring me. Rosa, we're gonna take a stroll down Main Street so keep your eyes open for perps. *bark* *bark* I see a perp! Good eyes, Rosa! Let's sic 'em! Task: "Collect Dog Bones" (x145). Task: "Make Wiggum Chase the Perp". The job takes 4 hours. If Lou is owned: Task: "Make Lou Cut Off the Perp Around the Corner". The job takes 4 hours. *growls* Grrrr.... Grrrr.... *bites the perp* Wow, that was the fastest perp takedown I've ever seen! *bark* *bark* All in a dog day's work. Did you see that, Chief? Chief? Gimme a break, Lou! After completing Pt. 3 Chief Wiggum, have you met McGriff, our new detective? I'll be handling the tough cases from now on. You can talk? Yes, I'm a freak. But I can also translate for the other dogs. *bark* *bark* Tell that beef bag to stay out of his office which is MY office now! *bark* What'd Laddie say? Uh... Laddie just said "respect". I respect you too, Laddie. Also, YOUR office is now in the basement. Come again? Task: "Collect Dog Bones" (x125). Task: "Make Wiggum Head to the Basement". The job takes place at the Police Station and takes 4 hours. If Lou is owned: Task: "Make Lou Put a Dog Bed in Wiggum's Office". The job takes place at the Police Station or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. If Eddie is owned: Task: "Make Eddie Add Snausage Water to the Office". The job takes place at the Police Station or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. If Emily Winthrop is owned: Task: "Make Emily Winthrop Test Out a New Whip". The job takes place at Emily Winthrop's Canine College and takes 4 hours. If McGriff the Crime Dog is owned: Task: "Make McGriff the Crime Dog Solve Cold Cases". The job takes place at the Police Station or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. What case are you working on, McGriff? That double murder behind the Krusty Burger? The serial kidnapper? Sad that we've never really solved anything in our careers...just sad. I'm working on the oldest cold case on the books. Trying to crack, once and for all, who is a good boy. Pt. 5[edit]

After completing Pt. 4 With the latest arrest numbers, the Springfield Police have had a dramatic turnaround. It's incredible how quickly Chief Wiggum has improved our city. I've heard it's actually the new police dogs who are to thank. Apparently, Laddie is completely running things now. All wild rumors, ladies. I'm still the Chief in charge. But you're working out of the basement. The basement is where all the action is...and the water heater. How did you get into my house? A cop's job is to sniff out trouble. That includes troubled pork chops. I'm gonna need to take yours in for evidence. Task: "Collect Dog Bones" (x185). Task: "Make Wiggum Take Pork Chops as Evidence". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 4 hours. If Marge is owned: Task: "Make Marge Hand Over Pork Chop Evidence". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 4 hours. If Luann is owned: Task: "Make Luann Tell EVERYONE What Happened". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 4 hours. Alright, everybody here needs to know I'm still the Chief of Police. I'm running things! NOT some dumb dog! Chief, nobody can hear you down in the basement. I'm assuming the rats crawling everywhere will spread the word. Quest reward: 200 and 20 K9 Unit
