According to Abraham Simpson, his ancestor Homer Simpson was a crew member on a whaling ship that was attacked by Moby Dick. Homer, who had a craving for whale meat, bit into the whale's tail but ended up being dragged out to sea and vanishing in the Bermuda Triangle along with his ship.[1]
