The Simpson family went to Marfa, Texas to allow Grampa to meet Philip Hefflin to apologize to him for getting him fired. Philip Hefflin had an art studio in Marfa and had a statue of Abraham Simpson in army attire outside.
Some locations include Alamo's Tavern, Tex-Mex Lexus Car Dealership, a movie theater showing Next-To-The-Last Picture Show and 37 miles (60 km) outside Marfa is the Prada Marfa.
