When Homer and the kids take Marge on a surprise visit to her favorite childhood place, Barnacle Bay, they find out that the island has since become a disaster; all the stores are closed, everyone is homeless, and everything is trashed. The family walk past a number of dilapidated boats tied a pier, including The Wasted Bait, The Empty Net and The Rotting Pelican.
