Washington, D.C. is the capital city of the USA.
History
The Simpson family won a trip to Washington, D.C. because of Lisa's speeches. They stayed in a fancy hotel, The Watergate and visited the White House, The National Air and Space Museum and the Washington Monument.[1]
In a story told by Marge, the Lewis and Clark expedition passed through Washington, D.C., passing by the White House.[2]
