Comic Book Guy traded a Mary Worth telephone for Bart's original Itchy & Scratchy animation cel.[1]
Comic Book Guy once displayed a "very rare Mary Worth, in which she advised a friend to commit suicide."[2]
During a tour of the Springfield Shopper Building, the tour group went to the newspaper's comics section. The tour guide asked the group if anybody read Mary Worth. When nobody responded, the guide quickly decided to move on.[3]
