Trivia[edit]

The picture of a full-grown Bart and Lisa with Maggie is visible along the staircase wall.
The goof was fixed being replaced with another picture with a "Barthood" reference.
  • One of the promotional images for this episode have a photo showing a 10-year old Bart, a 8-year old Lisa and Maggie is visible in the background, though Bart is 4 years old, Lisa is 2 years old and Maggie is still unborn. The goof was fixed on the aired episode being replaced by another picture with the Grampa and Bart wearing fishing hats.
  • At end of episode, the flashlight under Bart's chin shows the shadow of his eyebrows despite he doesn't have eyebrows.

Continuity[edit]

Goofs[edit]

  • Previous flashback Todd could walk and talk as well the same size as 2-year-old Bart when Lisa was born. ("Lisa's First Word")
  • Previously Homer had never been to the Flanders house in the eight years they have been neighbors. ("Dead Putting Society")
  • Smitty has yellow skin rather than black skin.
  • Sideshow Mel is shown as Krusty's sidekick. This is an continuity error; Sideshow Bob is shown to be Krusty's sidekick is past scenes in various episodes, including "Lisa's First Word" and "The Telltale Head", along with the fact that he was replaced by Mel after framing Krusty for armed robbery in the present day events of the show (season 1's "Krusty Gets Busted"). Mel becomes Krusty's newest sideshow in between "Krusty Gets Busted" and season 3's "Black Widower", while the main events of this episode are six years into the past.
