Dan is a handicapped man who uses a wheelchair.
History[edit]
When Homer was trying to escape from the police on his mobility scooter, he rushed past Dan into the disabled stall in the toilets at the Springfield Mall. Dan was annoyed because he was next in line for the stall, but Homer told Dan that he'd have to wait. When Dan asked for how long, Homer peeked over the top of the stall to tell him to wait until it was safe. This caused Dan to realize that Homer wasn't actually handicapped, and he started shouting. This caused several other handicapped men in wheelchairs to come in, and Homer came out of the stall on his scooter. The other men thought that Homer was handicapped just from looking at him, but then Homer stood up to wash his hands. Dan and the other handicapped men chased Homer through the mall and out into the parking garage. As they were going up the ramp, Homer's horn fell off and caused Dan to fall out of his wheelchair and over the edge. Homer thought that he had gotten away from them until he realized that Dan was hanging on for his life. Being the only able-bodied person there, Homer went to pull Dan up to safety. As Dan thanked Homer, Homer's scooter rolled down the ramp and knocked Homer over the edge.
