Alan "Al" Gumble is the owner of Barney's Bowlarama and is Barney Gumble's uncle.

History

He once hired Homer for a brief period of time after he quit his job at the Power Plant, before Maggie was born. While working at his bowling alley he tells the Pin Pals that beer "costs six dollars a bottle" making them squeeze the beer out of their shirts and back into the bottles.
