Krusty Crushed Velvet Turquoise Bow Tie is a novelty bow tie modeled after the one worn by Krusty the Clown during his legendary Comeback Special.

History

The bow tie was produced as a replica of the turquoise crushed velvet tie Krusty wore on his Comeback Special. It was intentionally made untieable and designed to be worn loose to create what was advertised as an "I'm ready for drinking" look. The accessory was sold as one size fits all, although customers with thicker necks were advised to sew two ties together, and it retailed for $50.
