Greg is a professor of Gender Criticism at New York University and the counselor for Man Camp and Boys Camp.

History

Many of the men and boys of Springfield went to Man Camp and Boys Camp after Amazon Alexa recommended they all go. Greg was the counselor there, and he told everyone that the American male was in crisis. He then said he would help them explore their feelings. Greg then took the men to their first lesson, learning to talk politely to women. After the lesson, he asked Homer to give him a hug but was disappointed in his attempt.

Greg took the men who needed the most work to Pussy Willows, a remedial camp for men. There, he had them trained by Coach Krupt. At the Boys Camp, Greg lectured the children on their reliance on phones. When Dolph tried to throw a water balloon at Greg, Greg caught it and threw it back at Dolph. Nelson then tried to give Greg a wedgie, but Greg turned it around and gave Nelson a wedgie instead. Bart then tried to give Greg attitude, but Greg just took his phone and threw it into the stream. Greg then answered a phone call from his mother, who wanted to talk to him about buying things with the money he sent her.

Back at Man Camp, Greg asked the men why they were there. Greg used the talking stick and had the other men chant at Homer about his flaws. Afterward, he had Homer give him another hug, which was more acceptable this time. After this exercise, he had the men make eye contact with each other. Back at Boys Camp, Greg had the boys work together to build something. They built a television set, where Bart played Krusty and had "Itchy and Scratchy" (a raccoon and a squirrel) fight. When the last day of camp arrived, Greg had the men and boys meet up again and gave them their last task: killing their own dinner, a duck. Homer decided that they shouldn't kill the duck and should adopt it instead, as that was what a real man would do. Greg told Homer that they passed the test and discharged them from camp.
