Nedward Flanders Sr. is the father of Ned Flanders and the husband of Mona Flanders. He is a beatnik. He is seen in the episode "Hurricane Neddy" when he and his wife bring Ned to Dr. Foster. In Flanders' Book of Faith, his name is Nedsel Flanders.
