Harry S. Truman was the was the 33rd President of the United States, serving from 1945 to 1953.
Plot
In 1945, President Harry Truman printed a one trillion-dollar bill to help reconstruct post-war Europe. He handed the vital cargo over to Montgomery Burns to transport to the Europeans. However, the money never arrived, this is made out to be why Europeans are snotty to Americans.
Later when Lisa and Homer are watching a historical documentary they make a bet on who will win the 1948 U.S. Presidential election. Homer makes the mistake of believing the polls that predicted victory for Governor Dewey, so Lisa wins the bet and she gets to choose the activity for Daddy-Daughter Day. Her activity is taking part in building homes for Habitat for Humanity alongside former U.S. Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George H. W. Bush
