Margerie is a bar wench in a story told by Grampa.

History

In 1897, Margerie was a bar wench at Moe's Saloon. Moe told her that he wanted her to work the men better. When Homer went to the saloon for a beer, Margerie tried flirting with him, but Homer wasn't interested. Sheriff Wiggum challenged Homer to a card game, with the winner getting a beer and Margerie. During the game, Wiggum bet his badge, which Homer won, making him the new sheriff.

Before the duel between Homer and Montgomery Burns, Margerie gave Homer a pie, which he put in his jacket pocket for later. When Burns shot Homer, he went down, but the bullet hit the pie tin, saving his life. Margerie and the other townspeople chased Burns out of town after the duel.
