The profiler is a profiler for the FBI.
History[edit]
When a ticket reseller called SeatMiser started buying up all seats for the Circulus, the profiler was brought in to catch them. She told the people of Springfield that she used to catch violent serial killers, but they now leave that to documentaries and podcasts. She also said that ticket reselling was illegal in some states, but since she didn't know what state Springfield was in, she'd catch the reseller and prosecute them if there was a law against it in Springfield's state.
On the day of the Kneesock Dolls concert, the profiler had the FBI and the Springfield Police Department working security at the arena because she worked out the reseller would attend the concert. Bart, who was SeatMiser, realized they had the whole arena locked down and stole a police radio so he could keep on top of their activity. The profiler revealed that she believed the culprit to be a student at Springfield Elementary who had a rivalry with Principal Skinner. When Bart found out the profiler was locating his phone, he dropped it down a toilet. However, the FBI fished it out of the toilet and dried it in a bag of rice to get it working again. The profiler then had all the children in the arena line up and tried using each of their faces to unlock the phone. When it was Bart's turn to try the phone, the profiler was shocked to find that it didn't unlock. She then complained about wasting time as they had only caught two perverts, and a serial killer.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The profiler is voiced by Paget Brewster who plays FBI agent Emily Prentiss, a member of the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) team that catches serial killers, in Criminal Minds.
