History

In the 1980s, when Joe Quimby went to Slobtown to meet the people he would be serving if he won the election to become mayor of Springfield, Quimby saw people eating Slobtown Meat Cones. He was initially repulsed by them. When he went to The Slobic Diner, the owner gave him and Beatrice Bouvier two Slobtown Meat Cones on the house, which they immediately spilled down themselves. When asked if they wanted a napkin, Quimby refused because it wouldn't be a Slobtown Meat Cone unless you were wearing it.
