The picture of a full-grown Bart and Lisa with Maggie is visible along the staircase wall.
- One of the promotional images for this episode have a photo showing a 10-year old Bart, a 8-year old Lisa and Maggie is visible in the background, though Bart is 4 years old, Lisa is 2 years old and Maggie is still unborn. The goof was fixed on the aired episode being replaced by the grampa Abe and Bart wearing hats.
Goofs
- Todd is a fetus despite being born and entertaining Bart while Lisa was born. Todd is between 8 and 10 years old in "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily", so Maude dies 8 years after this episode airs. This creates inconsistencies in this episode: Maude would be alive in the present and the two Toyota cars, rideshare services, flat tv screens (where Bart and Lisa watch The Krusty the Clown Show), touch screens and Bitcoins did not exist when "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily" aired.
- Sideshow Mel is shown as Krusty's sidekick. This is an continuity error; Sideshow Bob is shown to be Krusty's sidekick is past scenes in various episodes, including Lisa's Sax, along with the fact that he was replaced by Mel after framing Krusty for armed robbery in the present day events of the show (season 1's Krusty Gets Busted). Mel becomes Krusty's newest sideshow in between Krusty Gets Busted and season 3's Black Widower, while the main events of this episode is years into the past.
