C-3PO is a droid from Star Wars.
History
He was announced as a "gay robot from Star Wars" in a wrestling match with R2-D2 against the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica. He was getting beaten badly. He then asked R2 to save him, but R2 went away instead, causing C-3PO to state that he hated him.[1]
Someone also dressed up as C-3PO at a sci-fi convention.[2]
C-3PO appeared on the poster for Star Wars Episode VII: The Apology.[3]
A figure of C-3PO was in Comic Book Guy's apartment.[4]
The Shipper said that C-3PO and Chewbacca were definitely a couple.[5]

When Bartman fought against Metal Solid Snake, he said to him that C-3PO hit harder than him.[6]
Bits of C-3PO were seen in a cart at Jabba's Hut Jedi Preschool. C-3PO also appeared in the background of the Star Wars Rules.[7]
Homer bet that C-3PO was from India because he knew over 71,000 languages. Apu told Homer that C-3PO was from England instead.[8]
