Gamera is a Japanese movie monster.

History

In Lisa's daydream, she imagined a possible future in which her life was ruined by a failing grade in gym class. In this fantasy, she was publicly disqualified from becoming President of the United States after it was revealed that she had once received an F in physical education. As punishment, she was sentenced to a lifetime of exile on "Monster Island," a supposedly terrifying place inhabited by giant monsters. Creatures such as Gamera, Rodan, and Mothra were shown roaming the island, which was overrun with fire-breathing beasts, emphasizing the absurdity of the imagined punishment.

When the Simpsons leave Tokyo Gamera attacks their plane, alongside Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra.
