Judge Muntz is Nelson Muntz's grandfather. He is the father of Mr. Muntz and father-in-law of Mrs. Muntz. He is a judge who first appeared in Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish". He sentenced 47 people to death in 1996.
