History
When Patty and Selma watched Marge cutting up a fallen tree, Patty invited Paula over to meet Marge. Patty revealed that they met at Burning Woman and Paula was a timbersports competitor and wanted to train Marge to join in the sport. Paula took Marge to the woods to train and told Marge to think of things that make her mad when she's chopping wood and thought Marge was a natural. The two then trained together.
When Marge won her first competition, Paula invited Marge to join her to be her partner in the double-ended bucksaw competition, which would take place in Portland, Oregon. Marge agreed to go with Paula for a month to train for the competition. When the rest of the family went to Portland to watch the competition, Homer found that Marge and Paula had gotten close and was worried that they were getting together, saying that they were married in an emotionally and cooking way, which Marge denied.
During the Grizzly Timbersports Northwest Championship, Homer decided to give Marge encouragement. This led to Marge and Paula winning the championship. Afterwards, Paula told Homer that he had nothing to worry about as she has a wife and kid, with the wife being a ribbon gymnast training for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Homer then told Paula that if she wanted another kid, they could use his sperm, to which Paula said they'd put him on the shortlist.
