Zachary Taylor was the 12th President of the United States, serving from 1849-1850.

History

A picture of him was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.^[1] A student at the Springfield Elementary played him in a school play about presidents in the United States at the Presidents Day.^[2]
