Nome is a city in Alaska.
History
One of Mona Simpson's fake licenses lists her address as being in Nome, Alaska.[1]
While waiting in line to board their plane, Homer asks Marge why their airline routes all it's flights through Nome. Marge shrugs and replies, "It's their hub."[2]
