Chippos are a brand of potato chips with a hippopotamus mascot on the bag.

History[edit]

They are commonly seen on the shelves of the Kwik-E-Mart.^[1]^[2] They are a favorite snack of Homer Simpson, who was often seen eating them while watching television,^[3] and he also kept a bag in his desk drawer at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.^[4] Chippos were purchased by Apu for Bart and Milhouse.^[5] Their packaging was also seen in everyday use, including a discarded wrapper found near Milhouse.^[6]
