History[edit]
When Bart was getting into e-sports, playing Conflict of Enemies, Homer hired The Detonator to tutor Bart and his team. He gave advice and tactics to the team and commentated on everything he did, including going for a pee break. When he got back to his computer, he realized that he had mistimed his break, and his character died as a result. The Detonator then announced to the kids that he was quitting, as he had lost his gaming edge. He burned his hoodie and beard and went to work for his uncle at a tile store.[2]
It seemed that The Detonator picked up gaming again, as he was seen at a social media influencer gathering in Springfield, where Warburton Parker introduced him as the Internet's leading walkthrough gamer. He asked Homer what his side quest was before walking off to get some chili.[3]
Bart was watching a video of The Detonator playing Halfmonth. In the video, The Detonator was going over the best ways to make sure people were dead.[1]
