When Homer went with Calvin to his taxidermy lesson at Second Life Taxidermy, Alice was Calvin's teacher. Alice asked Calvin why his pelican taxidermy had a freshwater fish in its mouth, and Calvin told her that it was the joke. When Homer reacted negatively to taxidermy, Alice explained that it is sad when animals die, but the pelican could now speak to the world as art.
Alice later attended the taxidermy convention at the Shelbyville Inn. She had made a taxidermy of a family of possums eating out of a Krusty Burger wrapper, which Hal liked the symbolism of.
