Kuwait City is the capital of Kuwait.
History
The combat veteran at Fort Springfield told Skinner that he had received several medals for securing a Montgomery Ward in Kuwait City.
Behind the Laughter
He is referring to Montgomery Ward, an American retail corporation, and to Kuwait City, which was a critical location during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990, an invasion that marked the beginning of the Gulf War.
