History
One of Mona Simpson's fake licenses lists her address as being "Gen Del, Nome, Alaska".[1]
Homer and Marge are at Springfield Airport waiting in a long ling to board their flight to Dayton, Ohio and Homer asked why kind of airline routes all their flights through Nome. Marge shrugs and replied, "It's their hub."[2]
When the Simpsons are hiding out in Alaska, Marge was knitting a pillow with "Nome Sweet Nome," a play on the phrase "Home Sweet Home."[3]
