Bill Simpson is Abe's brother, and is apparently a communist.

At an HUAC meeting Abe told the audience that he would like to name Fred Wilson, Bill Simpson, Dom DiMaggio, the paper boy, Howdy Doody, and Josef Stalin as members of the Communist party.

Trivia[edit]

• When the letter "e" fails to work on the Simpson family's typewriter, Homer uses the name "Bill Simpson", instead of "Homer".^[1]
