History
One of Mona Simpson's fake licenses lists her address as being "Gen Del, Nome, Alaska".[1]
While waiting in line to board their plane, Homer asks Marge why their airline routes all it's flights through Nome. Marge shrugs and replies, "It's their hub."[2]
While living in Alaska, Marge knitted a cloth that said "Nome, sweet Nome".[3]
