The Yeti is the father of Moe Szyslak who lives on Mt. Everest.

History

Moe said that his dad was a circus freak, but his mother didn't remember which one.^[1]

The yeti found the flag that a man who climbed Everest was carrying and gave it to his son, Moe Szyslak.^[2]

When Moe was younger, he and his father were seen singing the Springfield city anthem at the Springfield Town Hall^[3]

Behind the Laughter

In the real world, the Yeti is an ape-like cryptid (similar to Bigfoot) that is reputed to live in the Himalayas.
