- The entrance hall carpet in The Henry L. Waterpark Mansion and Museum is a reproduction of one that Mr. Waterpark saw on a trip to Utrecht in the Netherlands.
- Seymour Skinner mentions the Wilton pattern, a machine-woven, highly decorative carpet pattern that became popular in the Late Victorian era.
