Steve Urkel is a television character from the sitcom Family Matters.
History[edit]
After Homer saw an alien, he told Chief Wiggum that the alien had a sweet, heavenly voice like Urkel and appeared every Friday night, also like Urkel.[1]
While participating in The 1895 Challenge, Marge attempted to purchase Urkel-O's cereal from the Kwik-E-Mart. Buying anything that was produced after 1895, however, was against show rules, so Apu had to deny her purchase.[2]
A production of Othello, with Urkel in the title role, was staged in London when the Simpson family visited the city.[3]
The Simpsons once watched a brief portion of a Christmas special where, in a parody of A Christmas Carol, Urkel played a character called "Ebenezer Urkel".[4]
