Homer once bet on a football game being played between Miami and Cincinnati.[1]
Superintendent Chalmers went to Cincinnati to give a keynote speech at Edu-Con there. He ended up taking Principal Skinner with him on the flight via Air Cincinnati, but they got thrown off after Chalmers had an anxious breakdown. They then went on an 800-mile road trip to Cincinnati instead. Chalmers gave his speech at the Duke Energy Center, and they went to Skyline Chili afterward.[2]
The Springfield Isotopes played a game in Cincinnati. They stayed at the Cincinnati Reds Roof Inn.[3]
