Shaquille O'Neal, commonly referred to as Shaq, is an American basketball player.
History[edit]
When Homer's second art exhibition failed, he told Marge that great artists are always trying new things, like Michelangelo or Shaquille O'Neal.[1]
Homer, Bart, and Milhouse tried to enter The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop disguised as a tall man. Homer identified himself as Shaquille O'Neal.[2]
He was one of the substitutes who strangled Homer when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was tired.[3]
When Mr. Burns failed to throw a ball anywhere near the hoop while he was getting a basketball lesson from Charles Barkley, Barkley shrugged at this and remarked that Burns was still better than Shaq.[4]
When Homer and Grampa were looking for Bart, they saw large footprints in the snow. Homer guessed that they were either from Sideshow Bob or Shaq. Shaquille O'Neal then walked along in snowshoes and told them that it wasn't him, as he was going another way. He then told Homer and Grampa that he was lost. When Homer asked Shaq if he could help them, Shaq told them that he wasn't Superman. Homer then told Shaq that he had a Superman tattoo on his arm. Shaq was scared that Homer knew so much about him, told Homer that he didn't have any money, and then flew off.[5]
Shaquille O'Neal started selling products on late-night television. Homer bought a lot of the products that he was selling. Eventually, Homer got the idea to create Me-Shirts after a billboard of Shaquille O'Neal spoke to him.[6]
