Cletus is a beer drinking and cigarette smoking man who is married to Aline.
History[edit]
Milford A. Alexander wed him and Aline at Shotgun Pete's after asking Cletus if he would take Aline to be his his lawful-wedded wife and he simply replied with "yup".[1]
He was seen at a parenting class.[2]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The first name Cletus came from this episode's writer Jeff Martin who grew up in Houston, Texas where Cletus was the name of his little league baseball coach.[3] The name would be reused for "slack-jawed yokel" Cletus Spuckler.
