Montreal is a city in Quebec, Canada.

History

When Channel 6 sponsored a contest to pick a mascot for the Olympics that were going to be held in Springfield, Kent Brockman said that the mascot would join such other memorable mascots as "the Atlanta Whatzit and the Montreal vampire."[1]

One of the things Homer's talking Astrolabe tells him is that it is "6:37 p.m. in Montreal".[2]
