While trying to teach Apu his citizenship test, Homer showed him a map of the US on which Omaha was seen.
The Female mail carrier delivered a package to the Simpsons meant for the neighbors Brenda and Scott Weingarten, but Homer decided to keep it when the mail carrier said she would just ship the juicy, mail-order steaks back to Omaha.[1]
Bart read in the Playdude Advisor how the music on The Essential Miles Davis would get a stewardess to give you a layover, but Milhouse did not understand the innuendo and hoped he would get a layover in Omaha since his grandma lived there.[2]
Homer and Patty's girlfriend Evelyn bonded during their group vacation to Costa Rica when he noticed she was watching the Omaha Cornhole International on her smartphone at the same time he was watching it.[3]
